The Lake journey started in 2016 when we came up with the idea to bring together talented illustrators and offer their work in a form that gives fans a way to co-create with them. It soon became our mission to create a unique experience for all who appreciate and enjoy the art of self-expression. Fast forward a couple of years and Lake holds the largest collection of coloring books by independent illustrators in the world! We actively support worldwide talent and, at the same time, those who seek to find their peace through coloring. This is what fuels our desire for continuous growth!
It is no lie that winning an Apple Design Award in 2017 gave us the wind in our sails, but surpassing 12 million users and growing our coloring book collection from 10 to 140+ certainly gave us the confidence to continue sailing in what we consider to be the right direction for Lake.
Lake is an app available for iOS devices (iPhones and iPads). Lake is free to download from the App Store. The free version is available with some limitations, such as the number of drawings and access to certain tools and features. For users who want to experience the full coloring experience, we offer monthly and yearly subscriptions. Subscribers can also benefit from a 7-day free trial, during which they can try out all the features and immerse themselves in the world of colors.
The Lake Coloring app is translated and available in 11 different languages: English, Italian, Spanish, German, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Portuguese, Russian, French, Japanese, and Korean.

by CatInTheMunLight This app fulfills all my wishes! All the others don't allow for shading. All you can do is dump a color in an area. This one has unlimited creativity. You can mix colors and shade. Really lets you be artistic! Love it!
