Coloring on iPhone is about to feel a whole lot bigger.
For this major update, we’re rebuilding Lake’s interface to work with both the outer and inner displays of iPhone Duo - making it easier to color wherever you are, with more room to create whenever you unfold.
Lake has always made it possible to color on the go. But on a phone, a smaller screen naturally means more zooming, more tapping and less room to focus on the details.
iPhone Duo changes that.
Unfold it and Lake opens up into a larger, more immersive canvas. The larger canvas means more room to focus on colors, textures and creative details.
It’s a little like having an iPad mini in your pocket - ready whenever inspiration strikes.
Rather than simply stretching the existing iPhone layout, we redesigned Lake for iPhone Duo’s larger inner display.
The new interface feels less cluttered, gives the artwork more space and keeps your coloring tools within easy reach. All Art and My Works also use a more expanded layout, so you can browse more drawings and see more of your creations at a glance.
We’ll also bring Apple Pencil support to Lake as soon as it becomes available on iPhone Duo, so you can enjoy the same natural, precise coloring experience you know from iPad.
Use the outer display for quick creative moments, then unfold when you want to settle in and color.
