With Recreate, Lake is introducing a new way to color alongside finished artwork and use it as a reference while you create your own version. From color choices and shading to textures and techniques, you can look closely at how a drawing was colored and try to recreate the details that catch your eye.
Recreate places the reference right alongside your coloring page, making it easy to move between observing and creating. You can try to match the original as closely as possible, experiment with a technique you haven't used before, or take what you see and give it your own creative twist.
The feature also gives finished artwork a new purpose. With colored artwork from a variety of Lake artists available to recreate, you can explore different creative approaches, styles, and techniques - and see how each artist brings their own work to life.
